Advanced English learner’s speech on formal and informal topics

Yes, there are many differences between having a formal conversation and informal conversation which can affect your daily life and office life in a very different way.
The major differences start with social and cultural contexts in which the speakers try to use then, the general tendency is to use informal speech between any of our friends’ relatives and other people when we meet them newly.
While the formal speeches get started between people in the same organizations in group discussions on office projects and in between a boss and employee.

More contractions in informal and formal English:
When we try to go with informal conversations then we try to shorten the words adding them with some other words in such a way to add meaningful speech or conversation between them.
include can’t, won’t, don’t while in the case of a person using English in a regular way will be more added contractions in his conversation.
Contractions in formal written English is seen less so the usage of contractions sometimes makes an easy indicator for a piece of specific people. The more informal a text is written then it will sound more regular.
Example like: my car won’t start today and I can’t walk, informal usage of contraction
My car will not get started today so I cannot walk formal usage.
Phrasal verbs in speech:
A phrasal verb is told to be an idiom in which the verb is accompanied by other words to make a complete expression, some examples are like looking forward, takes after, and picked on.
Usage of colloquialisms and slang:
Slang is generally a type of vocabulary which is used by the social group but not by a large population, colloquial speech mostly refers to the use of regional dialect and is conflated with informal speech.
The problems occur in the usage of slang because it is not the descriptive way it indicates tone and feels more than it does in detail, in most of the cases attending to slang can result in changing the sentence meaning completely.
While we get a discussion on the first-person usage many types of documents are required to the more formal third person writing when writing a formal essay, the mistake is made which is mentioned below
Example: I think time travel is a fascinating subject I’m not sure this happens only in movies
Here the sneaky I is appearing where it should not, so whenever writing an opinion essay the usage of the first person is not necessary the reader might assume that you think or you believe everything you write unless you say it.
To make writings more formal try not using the first person.
Formal English is used in texts and situations that are told to be important like in official documents, news reports, books, articles and business letter and also in official speeches.
Informal usage of English is more used in everyday conversations and in personal letters for the personal environment not getting involved with the official work.
Formal English tends to be used in carefully edited writing when the writer is having more time to edit his text generally occurs in speech when the speaker says something which has been prepared already in cases like news reading and in official speeches.
Informal English usage is more in improvised speeches and more seen in speeches without any preparation and also occurs in writing quickly in hurry and leave it without editing in cases like chatting with a friend, personal e-mails etc.
The sentences are simple and short in informal usage and the sentence gets elaborated and more complicated in informal usage.
